Terms of Service

Effective date: 7 June 2026  ·  Last updated: 7 June 2026

By accessing or using Eudora ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Eudora is an AI behavioral compliance platform that provides audit trails, security controls, and governance infrastructure for AI agent deployments. The Service is offered as a cloud-hosted SaaS platform at app.geteudora.com and as an open-source self-hosted solution.

By using Eudora, you agree to these terms whether you access the cloud service or use the self-hosted software under the MIT License.

2. Account Registration

To use the cloud Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Subscription and Billing

Cloud plans are billed monthly. By subscribing, you authorise Eudora to charge your payment method via Stripe on a recurring basis.

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Eudora to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the data you submit to Eudora.

You grant Eudora a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Upon account termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. API Keys and Third-Party Services

If you provide API keys for third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.), you are responsible for complying with those providers' terms of service. Eudora encrypts and stores these keys solely to forward your requests — we do not use them for any other purpose.

You are responsible for the costs incurred through your API keys. Eudora does not mark up or add fees to third-party API usage.

7. Open-Source Software

The Eudora core is licensed under the MIT License and available at github.com/eudora-hq/eudora. The MIT License governs use of the self-hosted software. These Terms of Service govern use of the cloud-hosted Service only.

8. Compliance and Regulatory Use

Eudora is designed to support DORA (EU Digital Operational Resilience Act) compliance workflows. However, Eudora does not guarantee regulatory compliance. Using Eudora does not constitute legal advice, and you are responsible for your own compliance obligations.

The compliance reports generated by Eudora are provided as-is. They should be reviewed by qualified compliance professionals before submission to regulators.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for interruptions outside our reasonable control.

Enterprise plans include a 99.9% uptime SLA as specified in the Enterprise agreement.

10. Intellectual Property

The Eudora name, logo, and cloud platform (excluding the open-source core) are the intellectual property of Eudora. You may not use our trademarks without written permission.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us may be used by Eudora without compensation or attribution to you.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eudora shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages, so the above may not apply to you.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may terminate by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or other material breach.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany, unless required otherwise by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Eudora regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
